One of the largest theme parks in South
India. This picnic spot has grown as one of the most visited places
in Ernakulam. Located at a hill top, both adults and youngsters enjoy
their holiday alike at this entertainment center. Every visit is a
new experience at Veega Land. It is nearly Seven Kilometers
from our clinic. |
Mahabali, a celebrated emperor of the
Asuras, was supposed to be ruling over this land. But this golden
age came to a tragic close when Mahabali was expelled from his Kingdom
by Vamana, the dwarf incarnation of Vishnu. The diety in this temple
is Vishnu in dwarf form, making this temple one of the rarest in the

The temple diety is ‘Durga Bagavathy’
. It is believed that there is presence of Saraswathi Devi till 7.am
in the morning . A ‘Bhadrakali Devi’ temple is also present
in the premises. The festival here falls in February- March for nine
days, ‘Makam Thozal’ is an important day during the festival.
Chottanikara Temple is about Ten kilometers from
